Terrific audience at the indie publishing panel yesterday at SXSW. Kat Meyer of O'Reilly Media led the lively discussion and did a great job bringing out both the nuts and bolts aspects and the "why" of it all.A few quick impressions:
Marty Beckerman is flat hilarious. He's the person you want to sit next to at the dinner party.
The new cover for Neal Pollack's Jewball is evocative and very cool. (Though I will miss the flaming basketball.) Look for it later this month exclusively on Amazon.
My hotel is full of Germans.
